Green FiveM Minimap - No Postals (EMERALD) — for ESX, QBCore, Qbox & standalone servers
Green FiveM Minimap - No Postals (EMERALD) is a hand-rendered custom minimap for FiveM: deep green terrain with bright jade arterials. This build uses the no postals base map, where street names only, no postal numbers — the cleanest read at radar size and the right choice if you run your own postal script or a custom numbering scheme. It drops straight into any ESX, ESX Legacy, QBCore, Qbox or standalone GTA V roleplay server as a normal resource — no framework dependency, no database and no configuration.
Key features
- EMERALD palette — every layer recoloured separately, not a filter over the stock map
- No Postals base map: street names only, no postal numbers
- 6144 × 9216 in game, rendered at 2× supersampling from a 12288 × 18432 master
- 78 stream files — same ~113 MB VRAM as the stock GTA V map, so no performance cost
- Real bathymetric water depth, glowing coastline and a three-tier road hierarchy
- Works with ESX, ESX Legacy, QBCore, Qbox, vRP and standalone servers

Full description
Green FiveM minimap (EMERALD) — no postals. Deep emerald. Dark green terrain with bright jade roads. A hand-rendered custom minimap for FiveM that drops straight into any ESX, ESX Legacy, QBCore, Qbox or standalone GTA V roleplay server. Instant delivery, lifetime updates and Discord support.
How the green palette reads in game
Green sits in the middle of human colour sensitivity, so this palette reads clearly without ever being loud. The terrain bands separate well, which makes the northern hills and Mount Chiliad noticeably easier to read than on the monochrome maps.
The no postals base map, explained
Street names only, with no postal numbers burned into the texture. This is the cleanest read at radar size: fewer glyphs competing for the same pixels, so the road hierarchy and the coastline carry the map. It is the right base if you already run a postal or location script, use a custom numbering scheme, or simply do not use postals at all.
The trade-off: Players who are used to calling postals will need your own postal resource or a location script, because there are no numbers on the map itself.
What you get
- One drop-in FiveM resource folder: pityus_minimap_green_clean
- 78 stream files (DXT5 .ytd texture dictionaries and .ydd geometry) plus fxmanifest.lua and client.lua
- Game resolution 6144 × 9216, rendered at 2× supersampling from a 12288 × 18432 master
- Roughly 113 MB of VRAM in game — identical to the stock GTA V map, so there is no performance cost to switching
- Coloured LOD map so the pause-menu map matches the minimap
- Lifetime updates and Discord support
How this FiveM minimap is rendered
Nothing here is a filter dropped over the stock GTA V map. The source map is taken apart into semantic layers first — ocean, bathymetric depth, coastline, terrain relief, hillshade, three road classes, labels and label halos — and each layer is recoloured independently. That separation is what lets the green freeways stay bright while the residential grid stays quiet, instead of every pixel shifting hue together. Water depth is a real bathymetric gradient with contour lines, the coastline carries a glow that hugs the shore, and the road network is separated into three tiers so freeways stay continuous while the city fabric never turns to mush.
The exact EMERALD palette
Every band below is a separate layer in the renderer, which is why the twelve palettes look like twelve different maps rather than twelve tints of one. These are the values used to build this map.
| Deep water | #020705 | The deepest bathymetric band, furthest from shore. |
| Mid water | #04150F | The middle depth band between the shelf and the deep. |
| Shallow water | #082D1F | The shelf right off the beach, where the depth contours sit. |
| Coastline | #4DFFB0 | The glow that hugs the shore and makes the island read at a glance. |
| Low ground | #070B09 | Sea-level terrain: the basin, the beaches and the flats. |
| Mid ground | #131D18 | The first elevation band — most of Los Santos sits here. |
| High ground | #1F3027 | Hills and the Vinewood ridge. |
| Peaks | #2A3F33 | Mount Chiliad and the highest bands of the northern range. |
| Minor roads | #55655C | Residential streets and service roads — the quietest tier. |
| Major roads | #C1D2C8 | Arterials and boulevards. |
| Freeways | #5AFFB6 | The highway network, always the brightest road tier. |
| Labels | #C8DED4 | Street names and, on the postal build, the postal numbers. |
Installation — two minutes, any framework
- Drop the pityus_minimap_green_clean folder into your server's resources directory.
- Add ensure pityus_minimap_green_clean to your server.cfg.
- Restart the server and rejoin. Tell players to clear their FiveM cache if they still see the old map.
No framework dependency, no database, no configuration. Works with ESX, ESX Legacy, QBCore, Qbox, vRP and standalone servers, and sits happily alongside any HUD, radar or postal script you already run.
Which servers run this one
Military, survival, cartel and nature-heavy roleplay servers, and anyone with a green brand. A popular pick for zombie and DayZ-style gamemodes.
Worth knowing before you buy: Green is a common health-bar and friendly-blip colour. If your HUD leans green, the minimap may blend with it.
Also available
The same EMERALD palette is also built on the Postal Codes and Google Style base maps, so you can change base map without changing the look of your server. All 12 colour themes — Black, White, Gray, Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange, Purple, Pink, TOPO Night and TOPO Day — are available across all three base maps in this category.

Frequently asked questions about Green FiveM Minimap - No Postals (EMERALD)
Which frameworks does Green FiveM Minimap - No Postals (EMERALD) work with?
All of them. A minimap is a streamed texture resource, so it has no framework dependency — it works on ESX, ESX Legacy, QBCore, Qbox, vRP and fully standalone servers, alongside any HUD or radar script you already run.
How do I install Green FiveM Minimap - No Postals (EMERALD)?
Drop the resource folder into your server's resources directory, add the matching ensure line to server.cfg and restart. Players may need to clear their FiveM cache once to see the new map.
Will a custom minimap hurt my server performance?
No. The map ships at the same resolution and roughly the same VRAM footprint as the stock GTA V minimap (~113 MB), and it is a streamed texture rather than a running script, so it costs zero client frames and zero server resources.
Can I get this palette on a different base map?
Yes. Every one of the 12 colour themes is built on all three base maps — postal codes, no postals and Google style — so you can change base map without changing how your server looks.
