Branding makes your FiveM server look professional before a player even connects. But FiveM is strict about image sizes — get the server icon dimensions wrong and it simply won't show. This guide covers every FiveM image you need in 2026: the server icon, the loading screen, and your Discord and Tebex banners, with exact sizes and examples.
The server icon (96x96 PNG)
The little icon next to your server name in the FiveM server browser must be a PNG that is exactly 96x96 pixels. Place it in your server root (next to server.cfg) and load it with load_server_icon:
# Must be a PNG, EXACTLY 96x96 px, in your server root
load_server_icon server_icon.pngIf your icon doesn't appear, it's almost always the wrong size or format. It MUST be 96x96 and PNG — any other dimensions or a JPG will be silently ignored.
Server name, description & tags
Your text branding shows on the server's info card. Use a clear name, a short description and relevant tags so players find you:
sv_hostname "W-Development | Premium FiveM Roleplay"
sv_projectName "W-Development RP"
sv_projectDesc "Serious economy roleplay with custom scripts."
sets tags "roleplay, esx, economy, serious, custom"
sets locale "en-US"
sets banner_detail "https://yoursite.com/banner.png" # 1900x100 detail banner
sets banner_connecting "https://yoursite.com/connect.png"The loading screen — your real banner
FiveM has no big image in the server list, so your loading screen is where you make a visual impact. It's a custom resource with an HTML page; background images are standard Full HD — 1920x1080 (16:9). Keep them optimized so the screen loads fast:
fx_version 'cerulean'
game 'gta5'
loadscreen 'index.html'
files {
'index.html',
'background.jpg', -- 1920x1080, optimized
'style.css'
}Discord & Tebex image sizes
- Discord server icon: 512x512 PNG (square).
- Discord invite/server banner: 960x540 (16:9).
- Tebex store logo: square works best — 500x500 PNG (the same as this store).
- Tebex store header/banner: a wide image; a common size is around 1900x430 — check your store theme's recommended size.
- Rich presence / connect banners (sets banner_detail): ~1900x100 strips work well.
Image format & optimization tips
- Use PNG for icons and logos (sharp edges + transparency).
- Use JPG or WebP for photographic loading-screen backgrounds (smaller files).
- Always export at the EXACT required dimensions — don't rely on the game to scale.
- Compress images (TinyPNG, Squoosh) so loading screens and pages stay fast.
